Seoul Soul Project
For Seoul Soul, a high-end Korean restaurant in Bali, we developed a captivating promotional campaign to generate excitement for their exclusive event. The project included creating a series of cinematic social media videos, each with a unique storyline, highlighting the restaurant's transformation into a vibrant house music venue. Our creative approach blended humor, mystery, and aesthetic visuals to engage the audience. The campaign effectively showcased Seoul Soul's dual identity as both a fine dining destination and a lively nightlife spot, culminating in a successful invite-only event.
The Curious Journey
For the first Seoul Soul video, we crafted a story around a woman's everyday routine, subtly building a sense of curiosity. The script was designed to show her repeatedly passing by the restaurant, each time growing more intrigued. On shoot day, we carefully selected scenic spots around Canggu to depict her various activities, ensuring the visuals flowed seamlessly with the narrative. The climax, where she finally enters Seoul Soul and is met with an unexpected party, was a rewarding moment to capture, blending humor and surprise to engage the audience.
The Mysterious Sign
The second video revolved around a man’s discovery of a curious sign on the street, leading him to Seoul Soul. The script played on intrigue and subtle whimsy, setting the tone for his journey. Filming involved capturing his reflective monologue as he contemplated the meaning of the sign, followed by his decision to enter the restaurant. The transformation from a quiet street scene to the vibrant energy inside Seoul Soul, complete with lights, confetti, and a playful dog as a DJ, required precise timing and creative camerawork, resulting in a memorable and engaging visual story.
